ADCO Products Inc.

ADCO Products Inc., Michigan Center, Mich., a designer and manufacturer of adhesive and sealant solutions, has hired Scott Bays as market area sales manager for construction. Bays will guide the strategic positioning of ADCO's butyl tapes and gun-grade sealants to various construction markets including concrete pipe and vault, and architectural glazing.

Dyneon LLC

Dyneon LLC, Oakdale, Minn., a 3M company, has named Dr. Greggory S. Bennett technical director. Bennett will oversee global research and development and will specifically focus on aligning business-unit applications and product-development groups in Dyneon's North American and European headquarters for a faster exchange of emerging bonding, curing and processing technologies between Dyneon and 3M.

Rubber Division, American Chemical Society (ACS)

Patricia Butler of Goldsmith & Eggleton, Inc., has been elected assistant secretary for the Rubber Division, American Chemical Society (ACS). Butler is the first woman to be elected to the ACS Executive Committee. Butler will have reporting responsibility to the Executive Committee for all Rubber Division ACS committees listed under her position.

Elementis Specialties

Elementis Specialties, Hightstown, N.J., has appointed Mitchell I. Gertz manager of environmental, health and safety. Gertz was previously the corporate manager for environmental, health and safety at the PQ Corp. In addition, Tamara L. Toth has been appointed Southeastern sales representative, based in Atlanta. Toth was previously a sales representative for Millennium Chemicals. The company has also appointed Nancy J. Adams customer service representative. She was previously with The Gluckshaw Group.

Vantico Inc.

Richard L. Matthews has been appointed North American director of sales and marketing for aerospace and general industrial adhesives at Vantico Inc., East Lansing, Mich., and Los Angeles. In addition to sales and marketing, he will supervise technical-support and product-development activities for Vantico's line of epoxy and polyurethane adhesives and syntactics. In addition, Bob Kruger has been appointed marketing manager for Vantico's line of Araldite(r) structural epoxy and polyurethane adhesives, laminating systems, and syntactics in North America. He is responsible for developing and implementing new marketing strategies and business opportunities with new and existing customers.

Glennon Corp.

Charles J. Osborn Jr., has been promoted to president of Glennon Corp., Pewaukee, Wis., and its two sister companies, Illinois Marking & Sealing, and Marcraft Corp. Osborn's primary focus will be directing all aspects of Glennon Corp. and its satellites. He is responsible for overseeing sales, printing, distribution and service support for the labeling, marking and carton-sealing integrator.

Seegott Inc.

Seegott Inc., Streetsboro, Ohio, announces the promotion of Sam Taylor to regional sales manager, New England and Mid-Atlantic states. Taylor most recently served as account manager in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.

CDF Corp.

CDF Corp., Plymouth, Mass., a supplier of plastic inserts, liners, lids and covers, has named Steve Duchon product manager, IBC dry and liquid form-fit liners. Duchon is responsible for sales and marketing of IBC products for the dry and liquid markets. He was previously vice president of sales and marketing at the former Custom Packaging Systems.

Charlie Zarnitz has joined CVC Specialty Chemicals, Maple Shade, N.J., as technical service manager. Zarnitz will be responsible for applications and product support. In addition, the company has appointed Bill Starner, PhD., technical director. He will administrate research and development, technical service, applications development, and quality control.
