NORTHBROOK, Ill. -- Tech XXV, the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council's (PSTC) 25th Technical Seminar, will be held May 1-3, 2002, at the Hyatt Regency, Atlanta. The seminar will celebrate PSTC's continued efforts to promote technical papers that emphasize advances in PSA technology. The PSTC works globally to advance the applications of PSA tape and continues to find new uses and stronger bonding materials that will expand the use of tape. According to the PSTC, to move forward, the industry must continue to innovate at speeds that will set records in bringing new products to market, but the new research needs to be cost effective to be accepted in the market.

The technical seminar will include a total of 30 papers and five sessions. A Poster Session on May 1 will offer selected companies and individuals an opportunity to present their products and service ideas in an informal group-discussion environment. The Supplier Exhibit Showcase on May 2 will provide an opportunity for representatives of supplier companies to interact with attendees.

The annual technical seminar will be preceded by an in-depth course as part of PSTC's Tape University program. PSA 102: Advanced Adhesive Technology for Pressure Sensitive Tapes will be held April 29 and 30 and will provide another opportunity for professional education.
