Tremco, a wholly owned subsidiary of RPM International Inc., has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the pan-European Illbruck Sealant Systems businesses from the Illbruck family. The businesses generate annual revenue in excess of Euro 160 Million. The proposed transaction, which is subject to customary approvals, is expected to close in August. illbruck Sealant Systems, based in Leverkusen, Germany, is a leading European developer, manufacturer and distributor of value-added sealant systems for the building industry. illbruck employs more than 700 people and has production facilities and sales offices throughout Europe.
