Binks has announced the next generation in spray finishing pump technology: the Pogo Plus, which builds on Binks' original drum transfer Pogo pump to offer unparalleled reliability features. The Pogo Plus incorporates several new features designed to ensure continuous high volume delivery of low to medium viscosity coatings and adhesives, including: new 2" air motor with "unbalanced valve" design for virtually unstallable operation; contained leak path that prevents material build-up on the drum; upper ball check for more reliable transfer than flat check; improved upper "U" cup that provides longer life with less leakage; and divorced design for easy maintenance and prevention of material migration into the motor. This item is available in stainless steel or carbon steel, offering a selection compatible with a wide variety of materials, including water or solvent borne paints and adhesives. The two-ball design provides better priming of the foot-valve, and double-acting pumps deliver material on both the up and down strokes.
