National Starch and Chemical Co. has announced the sale of its Permabond International cyanoacrylate and anaerobic adhesive product lines to the Grossi Family, who own the company now known as Permabond LLC. Terms were not disclosed. National Starch will continue to develop and sell Permabond's broad range of structural adhesives including acrylics, epoxies, polyurethanes, MS-polymers and UV-curing products. These product lines will be re-branded Bondmaster and will become a part of the Bondmaster division of National Adhesives in 2004. National Starch will continue to service orders and provide support for the anaerobic and cyanoacrylate product lines on behalf of Permabond LLC through the sale transition period, which is expected to be completed in early 2004.
