Chemir Acquires Guidelines Integrated Services
Chemir announces the acquisition of Guidelines Integrated Services, Miramar, FL, expanding Chemir's pharmaceutical contract research and development organization to now include three locations and approximately 100 employees. The acquired company will be operated as Chemir Pharma Services. Guidelines Integrated Services specializes in development/validation methods, stability testing and various analytical testing to support the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device products. This is the second acquisition by Chemir this year. In July 2003, the company acquired Lycoming Analytical Laboratories in central Pennsylvania, a quality-control testing facility now operated as Chemir Pharma Services.
