Stahl Holdings bv, Waalwijk, Holland, has announced the death of Jon Bouchard, president of its Performance Coatings Division.

Bouchard joined Stahl over 40 years ago and spent his entire career at the company’s Peabody, MA, facility. In his first ten years, he served as a laboratory technician, a technical sales representative and a chemist. Bouchard became technical director for Paule Chemical (shoe finish) in 1977 before becoming Upholstery Leather manager in 1983 and then general manager of Stahl USA in 1991. He was appointed president of the Performance Coatings Division with global responsibility for Permuthane® and Picassian® polymers.

“With Jon’s death at only 59 years old, Stahl has lost a highly valued colleague who was instrumental in developing the Permuthane business into a highly successful, growing part of our business,” said Huub van Beijeren, chief executive officer of Stahl Holdings. “Jon was well known and respected by many people in the trade, including Stahl management and colleagues all over the world.”
