FLEXCON: Polyethylene Films
This company recently introduced its optiFLEX® CONFORMmaxTM Series of products featuring V-882 adhesive.
This line of products is engineered for semi-squeeze and rigid containers with primary labeling applications with irregular shapes. The V-882 adhesive is a value-priced, high-performance, permanent acrylic adhesive offering excellent wet-out on low-surface-energy, high-density polyethylene containers.
The high-performance polyethylene films withstand the rigors of a variety of environments, including bathroom showers, where moisture and humidity put stress on graphics. The films offer long-term performance without lifting, tunneling, or flagging. While it is not intended for beverage applications, the V-882 adhesive offers excellent tack, clarity and wet-out characteristics.
The optiFLEX CONFORMmax series includes both white and clear polyethylene films that offer exceptional conformability as well as maximum label and graphic coverage. The films provide uniform and consistent printability via rotary letterpress, rotary screen, and flexography. All of the products are backed with TRACrite® 120 polyester release liner, which provides superior on-press performance for tight-registration graphics, and a good die-cutting base that allows for high-speed dispensing.
