Amos E. Holt, vice president of environmental, safety and
quality systems for Southwest Research Institute®, San Antonio, has been named president-elect of the
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), New York. Holt, a fellow and honorary member
of ASME, will become the Society’s 128th president when he begins
his one-year term in June 2009.
