The Dow Chemical Co. has appointed Torsten Kraef to the position of business group vice president, Dow Polyurethanes. Kraef has served in a variety of roles during his nearly 20-year career at Dow, mainly in business and commercial leadership. He most recently served as business group vice president of Dow Building and Construction, a business group within Dow’s Advanced Materials division, where he led three business units: Dow Building Solutions, Dow Construction Chemicals and Solar Solutions.

Kraef succeeds Guillermo Novo, who was named business group vice president of Dow Coating Materials.
