The new TCHP TrueCoat slot applicators can provide stripe or full coating application accuracy in continuous web coating processes. According to the company, streak-free coverage and edge control make the TCHP particularly beneficial for labeling and tape applications. The compact, configurable design is ideal for coating a variety of substrates, including papers, foils, films and nonwoven materials.
TrueCoat slot applicators are simple to use. A V-shaped body design provides flexible setup of web routing and guidance. In addition, fast pattern changes can be achieved with quick-change, replaceable slot nozzles. The flexibility and functionality of the TCHP slot applicator is expanded with capability to quickly and easily change between traditional slot nozzle and rotating bar nozzle technologies.
Standard application widths are available up to 31.5 in. (800 mm). Longer widths, up to 118 in. (3000 mm), are available upon request.
