19 SOCMA Member Facilities Exceed ChemStewards® Benchmarks
The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) recently announced that 19 member facilities now exceed key ChemStewards® benchmarks, qualifying them for the program’s highest ranking, known as the Excellence Tier. The latest certified facilities to attain this ranking are: Corsicana Technologies, Emerald Performance Materials LLC and Hydrite Chemical Co.
“We welcome these new member facilities into the Excellence Tier and commend them for raising the bar on performance improvement within the batch chemical industry,” said J. Holland Jordan, Ph.D., director of ChemStewards “These facilities are continually planning, implementing, reviewing and improving their EHS&S processes to not only meet, but exceed, industry standards.”
