Lubrizol Completes Merquinsa Acquisition
The Lubrizol Corp. recently announced that its purchase of Merquinsa is now complete. The addition of Merquinsa, a leader in specialty thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs), will reportedly expand Lubrizol’s Engineered Polymers business and strengthen its ability to meet the needs of its global customers.
The Merquinsa products will be integrated into the Lubrizol Engineered Polymers business. Key Merquinsa global commercial brands include PEARLSTICK®, PEARLTHANE®, PEARLBOND® , PEARLCOAT®, as well as the full ECO line of renewable-sourced TPU products.
