3M and Nordson Corp. recently announced a joint agreement to provide a total assembly solution to consumer electronic customers. The agreement formalizes collaboration between the two companies and increases customer responsiveness from design through scaleup. According to the agreement, Nordson will provide its Unity™ series robotic hot-melt systems, which can deliver easy handling and precise dispensing of 3M plastic bonding adhesives for manufacturing smartphones, tablets and computers.
