This company has announced it will present a new adhesive at FILTECH 2015, which will take place February 24-26 in Cologne, Germany. Technomelt AS 3126 is a new hot melt that can reportedly be used to fix folds in filters. Using this product reportedly not only shortens cycle times at the line, but lowers the temperature as well. These lower temperatures are reportedly possible due to the stringing behavior of AS 3126.

The product can allow multiple dispensing options: from round and slot die nozzles to spray and roller application or foaming. It has a lower viscosity at 160°C and offers a longer open time at that temperature.
