Romano Named VanDeMark Chemical VP-Global Sales
VanDeMark Chemical Inc. recently announced the appointment of James E. Romano to the position of vice president of Global Sales and Business Development. He will have supervisory responsibility for the entire sales staff of both VanDeMark and the newly acquired Framochem Kft, based in Kazincbarcika, Hungary.
“James brings to us the management experience and industry expertise to integrate the VanDeMark and Framochem teams,” said Michael Kucharski, president and CEO. “He will be at the forefront of the unification of all our product lines and phosgene chemistry specialization in the global marketplace.”
Romano joins VanDeMark from Chemtura Corp., where he was a global key account manager and business development director. He has also served in sales management positions for Eastman Chemical Co. and DSM Resins.
