Michelman recently announced the hiring of Andrew Michelman as its new director of business development. He will reportedly be responsible for supporting the company’s global strategic growth initiatives. He will work closely with Michelman’s corporate development team that is engaged in acquisitions, joint ventures, and all non-organic growth of the company. Michelman’s duties will include working with external advisors, as well as associates throughout the company, to identify acquisition opportunities. He will then be responsible for all aspects of closure among identified opportunities, including due diligence, financing, investment analysis, negotiations and integration of key acquisition targets. 

Michelman brings 20 years of global acquisition experience, having worked throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. He most recently served as a principal of a private equity investment group located in Birmingham and London. He has also served on Michelman’s board of directors since 1999.
