The School of Polymers and High Performance Materials at The University of Southern Mississippi has issued a call for abstracts for its 44th Annual International Waterborne, High-Solids and Powder Coatings Symposium, scheduled to take place Feb. 19-24, 2017, in New Orleans.

The symposium is reportedly looking for papers pertaining to new and emerging technologies related to materials, processes, production, characterization, application and markets in the field of surface coatings. Suggested topics include: waterborne coatings; high solids; nanostructure or nanotechnology; emulsion; additives; corrosion; UV; pigments; and powder coatings.

The submission due date is Sept. 15.
