FLEXcon Co. Inc. recently announced that Sridhar Sadasivan will serve as its new vice president of research and development, FLEXcon North America, effective February 19.

“Sridhar comes to us with 15 years of experience leading technology development in the films, optics and nanotechnology industries with companies such as Olympus, QD Vision and Eastman Kodak,” said, Lavon Winkler, FLEXcon North America president. “He has a proven track record of working with technology companies to bring innovative solutions to market and to successfully scale them to commercial success.”

Sadasivan most recently served as executive director, engineering, at Olympus in Waltham, Mass.
