Custom Milling & Consulting, Inc. (CMC) recently announced its new association with DRM Chemical Process Services, which is owned and operated by Dave Morse. Bringing more than 37 years of experience in the chemical processing and specialty inks industries, Morse will offer his services as a process consultant for a wide range of industries, assisting with product development and process optimization.

Having received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Bucknell University in 1982, Morse began his career as a supervisor in the sulfonation unit of Colgate-Palmolive. He then worked for several years for a large specialty chemicals corporation and later he went to work for Clariant Corp., developing dyes, pigments, and various intermediates. After six years, and having been elevated to the position of senior pilot plant engineer, Morse moved to become senior process and project engineer at Markem-Imaje in Keene, N.H.

His experience has helped Morse develop knowledge in processing solutions for different chemical industries. He has worked with the latest in media milling technology, three roll mills, submicron filtration, reactor design and operation, formulation development, and more.
