Graco Inc. recently announced that it has been named one of the 2019 Best Workplaces in Manufacturing and Production, according to Fortune magazine. Graco has been recognized on this list each of the three times it has participated.

“I’m honored to work with such an engaged team of employees worldwide at Graco,” said Patrick J. McHale, president and CEO. “Each employee is individually committed to building and maintaining a positive workplace. This is why we're being recognized—and each one of our employees should be proud of the culture they’ve built here at Graco.”

Graco ranked seventh on the internationally recognized list. To determine the 2019 Best Workplaces in Manufacturing & Production, Great Place to Work® analyzed anonymous survey feedback representing over 150,000 employees working in the Manufacturing & Production industry in the U.S. Employees responded to more than 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organization creates a Great Place to Work For All™. Most of the evaluation (85%) is reportedly based on what employees say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization, no matter who they are or what they do.

“There is a great deal of autonomy for all employees from the factory floor to upper management,” said one Graco employee in the anonymous survey. “Graco’s culture thrives on being metric oriented and accountable at every level, which allows that freedom to direct your own work and make individual and collective contributions. Every employee at Graco has the ability and responsibility to continually improve and make each new day better than the last.”
