Bostik recently announced that it showcased a wide range of solutions and technologies for the tapes and labels industry at the recent LabelExpo Asia 2019. For example, the local food safety standards in China have set specific testing requirements on different types of material groups or specific products to guarantee safety. Toward that end, Bostik reports that it ensures its products meet the GB9685-2016 National Food Safety Standard, which is the standard set for use of additives in food contact materials.

In addition to meeting food safety standards, sustainability is an important element for Bostik, and the company is committed to helping the environment while meeting customers’ sustainability needs. Products displayed at the Bostik booth included removable labels, linerless labels, food direct contact labels, and wash off labels.

“The potential of the China market is significant for us and we are excited to be exhibiting at LabelExpo Asia 2019 to share our expertise, showcase our solutions and technology for customers in the region,” said Eric Parois, group market director for Tapes, Labels and Medical. “Ultimately, our aim is to increase our brand presence and continue to introduce new technologies, such as the moisture curable pressure sensitive adhesives, to the market.”
