Scott Bader recently announced that it has joined the Society of Chemical Industry (SCI) Corporate Partnership program. SCI is a global multidisciplinary network connecting scientists, business people, students, and other key players involved in science-based innovation. SCI promotes innovation via its international network to advance the commercial application of science into industry for the benefit of society. The organization works across sectors as diverse as food and bio-renewables, water, environment, energy, materials and manufacturing, and health and wellbeing.

In 2018, Scott Bader committed to becoming a fully sustainable company through its 2036 vision. On joining the SCI partnership program, Mark Cooper, Scott Bader's group chief technology officer, said, "We are very pleased to join SCI as a corporate partner.
