The Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC) recently announced the official opening of abstract submissions for its inaugural Tape Week event, slated for May 2-5, 2022, in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Those interested in submitting their work are encouraged to share abstracts of in-depth case studies and solution-driven narratives and insights on the practical applications of pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape in a variety of industry verticals, including building and construction, automotive, and emerging markets.

Some topics for consideration include PSA tape’s advantages and areas for growth in comparison to other bonding methods, how to communicate tape’s benefits and overcome potential barriers for increased use by professionals in various verticals, and upcoming innovations and future marketplace trends. Chosen abstracts will be invited to attend PSTC’s reinvigorated Tape Week and present their research during the Markets and Applications Track or the Technical Track, depending on abstract topic.

All submitted abstracts will undergo a formal committee review in late fall, and applicants will be notified of their selection shortly after. The deadline for abstract submissions is September 1, 2021.
