RadTech, the non-profit for ultraviolet and electron beam technologies, and the Photopolymer Additive Manufacturing Alliance (PAMA), have opened applications from students, university labs, start-ups, and new technology developers for RadLaunch 2023. Now in its fifth year, RadLaunch recognizes work on materials, optics, design, printing, packaging, 3D printing/additive manufacturing, inkjet, building products, plastics, medical, electronics, disinfection, and more in support of the advancement of UV+EB.

According to RadTech, these efforts are becoming increasingly important as manufacturers address global environmental and energy concerns with UV+EB technologies. PAMA, a new RadTech initiative in collaboration with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), is sponsoring the event for the first time, as innovation in additive manufacturing/3D printing continues to accelerate.

The deadline for submissions is January 16, 2023, with a celebration of winners planned at BIG IDEAS 2023, March 6-8, 2023, in San Diego, California.
