Excelitas Technologies® Corp. is highlighting its OmniCure® LED UV curing systems for medical device applications at MD&M West, being held February 7-9, 2023, in Anaheim, California. The company reports that its OmniCure LED UV curing systems enable medical device manufacturers to achieve controlled and repeatable UV assembly processes to maximize reliability and improve product yields in medical device manufacturing.

Excelitas will be available at the booth #2233 to discuss featured products, including:

  • OmniCure LX500 LED Spot Curing System features proprietary Intelli-Lamp® technology that monitors temperature and usage statistics to maintain ± 5% stability in the optical output of up to 4 LED heads simultaneously. Developed with next-generation high-output LEDs, the new V3 UV LED heads deliver up to 22 W/cm2 peak irradiance and 1100 mW power with a more uniform beam profile, available in standard 365nm, 385 nm, 395 nm, and 405 nm wavelength options.
  • OmniCure S Series UV Lamp Spot Curing Systems feature closed-loop feedback and Intelli-Lamp technology for process quality and repeatability, the OmniCure S Series of Lamp Spot Curing Systems are used for precise adhesive curing of medical devices, electronics, and optoelectronics. The 200 W Hg Intelli-Lamp delivers high optical output with an available selection of optical bandpass filters.
  • OmniCure AC Series UVC LED Curing Systems are available in a wide range of form factors and wavelengths. Delivering high-output power and outstanding uniformity within a compact modular air-cooled design, these systems are scalable and easily integrated to meet specific application needs.
