As a high-volume manufacturer of adhesives and sealants, SABA Dinxperlo B.V. has encountered some “sticky” situations over the years.

Adhesive bonding in industrial production often requires very short curing times. In the case of reactive adhesives, this generally means high curing temperatures.

Assembly and manufacturing processes are highly dependent on the rapid and effective curing of ultraviolet (UV) adhesives. Historically, mercury arc lamps have been used as the curing source in a wide range of industrial applications and processes to polymerize adhesives.

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important in all aspects of the economy and manufacturing. The production of dental materials is no exception; here, too, sustainability is playing a crucial role in developing advanced, environmentally friendly technology.

Given the challenge to fill any kind of container with any kind of liquid, engineers have diligently researched hundreds of product applications—from adhesives and sealants to coatings, and chemicals and lubricants to foods and beverages—in order to design machines that will fill containers rapidly and accurately.
