Sika Global Automotive recently announced that Peter Luescher has been promoted to the position of head of Global Automotive Finance and Controlling, reporting to Dave Jones, head of Global Automotive. Luescher joined Sika AG in Switzerland in 1998 as head of Controlling, and was appointed to the position of Business Unit controller for the Grandview, Mo., automotive plant in 2006. In 2010, he was appointed as Controller Automotive/Industry and Special Projects in Lyndhurst, N.J.

In his new role, Luescher will be responsible for all finance and controlling activities for the Region Automotive, which includes North America, South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
