Unitech North America to Establish First US Manufacturing Site in Tennessee
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter, and Unitech North America LLC officials announced the company will invest $30 million to locate its first U.S. facility in Tennessee.
“Tennessee’s strong business climate and exceptional workforce attract global brands like Unitech to our state. I am grateful that Unitech has chosen to establish its first U.S. facility in Warren County and look forward to seeing the prosperity these 75 new jobs will bring to the families across rural Tennessee,” said Governor Lee.
In phase one of the project, Unitech will create 75 new jobs in Warren County with plans for future expansions. The Morrison location will specialize in the production of thermal adhesives and battery compression pads for electric vehicle battery manufacturers across the Southeast, as well as industrial adhesives and sealers for its automotive customers.
