Shurtape Technologies LLC recently announced its national partnership with Special Spaces Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to creating dream bedrooms for children diagnosed with cancer.  

The partnership builds on Shurtape’s 2023 sponsorship of the organization, in which the company helped bring to life an incredible sports-themed bedroom makeover for a Rocky River, Ohio, child battling cancer. As part of the new, three-year sponsorship, Shurtape’s premium painting tape brand, FrogTape^® brand painter’s tape, will be recognized as the Official Painter’s Tape of Special Spaces, and the company will provide painter’s tape for all of the non-profit’s projects nationwide during the course of the sponsorship. In addition, the company will make a financial donation over three years to help change the lives of children facing this difficult journey, including a bedroom makeover for a child located near its Consumer & Craftsman division offices in Northeast Ohio.

Special Spaces operates through a network of volunteers and donors who work tirelessly to design and makeover bedrooms that reflect each child's unique interests and personality. Since its founding in 2004, Special Spaces has transformed more than 1,700 bedrooms for children across the country and has grown to 10 chapters in 10 states. The organization was established on the principal belief that children facing this difficult journey need a special space to heal, recover and have fun.
