Arkema Appoints CEO of Italian Subsidiary

Arkema announced that the company has named Nicola Tei as chief executive officer of its Italian subsidiary, replacing Giulio Cocco, who has led Arkema Italy since 2012 and is retiring.
With more than two decades of experience in industrial operations, Tei has built a strong track record in heavy chemicals and organic peroxides. His career spans leadership roles in Italy, France, and the United States, where he managed highly regulated environments. At Arkema and INEOS Inovyn, Tei has led comprehensive industrial activities, from production and safety to maintenance and engineering.
“I welcome with great enthusiasm and sense of responsibility the appointment as CEO, thanking for the trust placed in me”, said Tei. “My primary objective will be to continue on the path taken by the company by enhancing people, skills and strategy to successfully face the challenges of the market.”
Arkema operates in Italy through four chemical plants under Arkema Srl, located in Gissi, Boretto, Spinetta Marengo, and Anagni. The group also includes three subsidiaries: Agiplast, located in the Cremona area, is a key player in polymer recycling, supporting Arkema’s commitment to circularity; Ideal Work, headquartered in Treviso, is a recognized leader in decorative surface solutions for architectural and design applications; and Arkema Adesivi, operating from its Parona and Mozzate sites—formerly part of Dow—specializes in high-performance laminating adhesives for flexible packaging, serving demanding markets with advanced technologies.
