Oxea announced a series of price increases in response to rising costs in raw materials, energy, and supply chain, combined with ongoing supply and demand volatility.

The company increased prices for neopentyl glycol (NPG) in Europe, North America and Mexico, and the rest of the world. In Europe, NPG molten increased €280/mt, and NPG slurry 90% increased €250/mt. NPG slurry 90% increased $290/mt in the rest of the world and $0.13/lb in North America and Mexico.

The price of n-propanol and n-propyl acetate in Europe increased by €100/mt at the same time.

The company also increased prices Oxy intermediates in Europea, North America, and the rest of the world. In Europe, 2-ethylhexanol, n-/i-butanol, and n-/i-butyraldehyde increased €75/mt, and n-/i-butyl acetate increased €50/mt. In the rest of the world, all of those products increased $90/mt. In North America, 2-ethylhexanol increased $0.04/lb.

Citing the same pressures of rising costs of supply chain, raw materials, energy, as well as supply and demand volatility, the company raised prices of amines at the end of April. In Europe, isopropylamine increased €350/mt, 2-ethylhexylamine and di-2-ethylhexylamine increased €350/mt, and n-butylamine, di-n-butylamine, and tri-n-butylamine increased €300/mt. In North America, isopropylamine increased $0.23/lb, 2-ethylhexylamine and di-2-ethylhexylamine increased $0.18/lb, and n-butylamine, di-n-butylamine, and tri-n-butylamine increased $0.16/lb. In the rest of the world, isopropylamine increased $520/mt, 2-ethylhexylamine and di-2-ethylhexylamine increased $400/mt, and n-butylamine, di-n-butylamine, and tri-n-butylamine increased $350/mt.

The company also announced a price increase of valeric acid, raising the cost €250/mt in Europe, $290/mt in the rest of the world, and $0.13/lb in North America.
