AW-Lake has appointed Claude Champion as general manager. The company reports that Champion brings experience in business management, sales leadership, and business development, with a background in strategic planning, sales transformation, and organizational development within industrial technology markets.

Champion joins AW-Lake as the company continues refining its sales organization and customer support strategy throughout North and South America. In his new role, he will oversee sales strategy, market development, distribution partnerships, strategic accounts, and new business opportunities related to the company’s flow measurement technologies.

Most recently, Champion served as sales director for LEM’s industrial segment, where he helped guide the company’s go-to-market strategy. He previously served as general manager of LEM USA, overseeing regional strategy, sales, operations, and organizational development initiatives.

As part of the leadership transition, Chris Husson, who has served as AW-Lake’s general manager for nearly two years, has moved into the role of director of operations. Husson has been with the company for more than 30 years and will focus on production optimization, Lean Manufacturing initiatives, and operational efficiency improvements.
