COHERIX: Adhesive Dispensing Technology
The Coherix 3D GlassMaster Tracker provides a 100% inline, real-time inspection and adaptive process-control solution for the urethane bead dispensing process. The product continuously tracks parts during adhesive application and automatically adjusts the robot path in real time. By tracking part-to-part variation and automatically compensating for differences in glass shape and battery-cover geometry, the system reduces process variation, minimizes production downtime caused by robot reprogramming, improves product quality, and helps prevent leaks and costly rework.
The 3D GlassMaster Tracker AI-based inspection system automatically adjusts the dispensing robot path to compensate for variations in part geometry, adhesive material viscosity, and other manufacturing conditions, nearly eliminating scrap, minimizing damage to adhesive dispensing equipment, and maximizing production uptime. The system records and verifies the dispensing process for every part produced, creating a permanent digital record that confirms adhesives were applied as specified.
PROSYS FILL LLC: Cartridge Filling System
ProSys Fill LLC has launched its high-speed automatic cartridge filling and closing systems for 10.5-, 14-, and 30-ounce fiber, metal or plastic cartridges. The in-line cartridge filling series features horizontal or optional vertical loading and unloading, volumetric product metering, and cartridge lift mechanisms for vertical, air-free bottom-up filling. With three-head filling and closing capabilities, the system enhances production speed and throughput while increasing operational flexibility and efficiency. Models are available that fill up to 110 cartridges per minute. Compatible with a wide variety of cartridge types, including plastic, metal, and fiber cartridges, the series can handle products with viscosities up to 3 million centipoise.
The system features either a standard reject system or optional downstream check weighing to ensure only correctly filled cartridges proceed. A plunger insertion feature with an air release system prevents air entrapment, helping maintain product integrity. Stainless-steel construction provides durability, easy cleaning, and long service life.
