PQ Announces Ard Appointed to Treasurer
Stanley Silverman, president and CEO of the PQ Corp., has announced the appointment of Amy Ard as treasurer of the corporation. Ard joined PQ in 2000 as assistant controller; her most recent position was corporate controller. She is a certified public accountant and is now responsible for all aspects of credit and collections, cash management, corporate funding, enterprise risk management and pensions. Prior to joining PQ, Ard was a manager at Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP. A native of New London, CT, Ard received a BS in Accountancy from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. She is also working to obtain her Masters in Business Administration from Villanova.
