Fincea has completed the transfer of 100% of Technokolla S.p.A. to Sika AG. Technokolla, based in Sassuolo (Modena), is an industrial company that operates in the adhesives sector with high technological content. Reportedly one of the leading Italian firms in the sector of setting materials for buildings, Technokolla has a presence in more than 30 countries.
“Following the recent industrial integration between GranitiFiandre Group and the Iris Ceramica Group, the transaction allows us to concentrate on our core business and, in particular, on the significant investment made in Italy and abroad,” said Graziano Verdi, chairman and CEO of Fiandre ed Iris Ceramica Group. “To date, in fact, the figures for the first half year reflect the growth of over 20% in the American subsidiary StonePeak Ceramic and 10% in the German subsidiary Porcelaingres, as well as the growth in the Italian brands of Fiandre and Iris. This transaction will permit major development and potential synergies with a firm that is a world leader in chemical products for the construction industry such as Sika, permitting us to improve and to continue to develop turnkey services, as well as favoring the growth and development of Technokolla.”
