ADM Names James General Manager, Glycols
Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) has named Kyle James general manager, Glycols. In this newly created position, James will oversee commercial operations of the glycols business, including sales of propylene glycol, glycerin and co-product streams.
James will also be responsible for feedstock sourcing as well as supply chain and distribution for the glycols business. He will continue to be based in Decatur, IL, and will report to Paul Bloom, business director, ADM Industrial Chemicals.
“Kyle’s expertise in agribusiness and his recent experience in the Industrial Chemicals group bring a unique skill set to our team,” said Bloom. “As ADM’s glycols product line continues to expand, he will play an instrumental role in driving future growth and success for our business.”
James has served in a variety of commercial roles since joining ADM in 1989. Most recently, he served as business process commercial manager, Industrial Chemicals, and vice president, Telles. Prior to those roles, he served as vice president, Ethanol Sales.
