Michelman recently announced it has formed an Engineered Wood business unit and has made four personnel changes to reportedly better align its resources with customer needs. The Engineered Wood business unit will be led by Steve Ruehrwein, who was previously in charge of the Chemical Specialties business unit. Peter Roggeman has been appointed as the new Chemical Specialties business unit manager. 

Michelman’s Flexible Packaging business unit has reportedly seen significant growth, particularly in the digital printing press market segment. Steve King, Sales Process manager, will shift focus to expanding the digital printing market and is now responsible for improving global logistics, channel management, customer interface, implementing e-commerce capabilities, and directing resource realignment. 

Within the Paper business unit, Don Hoesl has been promoted to business unit manager, Americas. He will also serve as an expert resource for the company’s European and Asian paper coatings teams.
