SS-333is a new non-tin, room-temperature-vulcanizing (RTV) adhesive. This product was reportedly developed to address the concerns of the toxicity of tin catalyst and the new regulations in Europe; these regulations are expected to ultimately expand to North America. The adhesive contains no tin, heavy metals or catalysts. As a general-purpose adhesive sealant, it reportedly bonds to all substrates except polyethylene, polypropylene and Teflon.

In addition to general industry fabrication applications, it is expected to find use in marine and catalyst-sensitive applications. It also offers a standard non-corrosive moisture cure schedule in a non-tin RTV with a two-year-plus shelf-life.
