This company has broadened its offering of control panels designed for use in Class 1 Div 1 hazardous environments. These panels can now be supplied with a fully automatic Type X purge system, which forces clean air through the enclosure until all hazardous gases are removed. The system then reportedly maintains a slight positive pressure within the panel.

The NEMA 4X operator stations feature a 15-in. color touchscreen with Ethernet communications and an emergency stop button with hermetically sealed contact block. The Type X purge system includes a 24-volt power supply. These UL-listed operator stations are designed for use with a remote PLC system to ensure full operational functionality.
