Adrian Hulme, R&D principal for Label & Graphics Materials North America with Avery Dennison Corp., has received the annual AWA Release Liner Industry Leadership Award. Hulme received the award, which is given for an outstanding contribution to release liners, during the recent 2019 Global Release Liner Industry Conference & Exhibition in Charlotte, N.C.

“Adrian’s work over the decades—he joined Avery Dennison in 1982—has spanned the development of release papers, films, and silicone coatings,” said Corey M. Reardon, CEO of AWA Alexander Watson Associates. “He has been involved in many collaborative efforts, across the value chain, working with suppliers and customers alike—and it has benefitted the entire release liner industry. He is a worthy successor to the previous winners—Dean Scarborough of Avery Dennison, Calvin Frost of Channeled Resources, and Wilhelm Munninger of Mondi.”
