Barentz International B.V. recently announced that Derk-Jan Terhorst has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO) and a member of the board, effective September 1, 2021. Following Terhorst's appointment, Jos van der Linden will step down as CFO and board member after 24 years.

Terhorst has significant experience in international financial management. He worked for Ahold Delhaize for over 15 years, including as CFO in Central Europe. He also served as CFO for Stop & Shop in the U.S. Most recently, Terhorst was CFO at Tony’s Chocolonely.
