Bostik’s polyurethane and acrylic technologies on display possess chemical resistance and low-VOC formulations to increase longevity and reduce environmental impact. For EV applications, Bostik’s featured hot-melt technologies for low-pressure molding processes possess easy processability due to their one-component formulations. Additionally, the company is displaying its structural adhesives, such as MMA and polyurethane, that provide strong bonds in less than a minute for EV battery pack integration manufacturing and streamline operational processes.
Bostik is also showcasing its line of Born2Bond™ instant engineering adhesive solutions, which overcome key performance limitations associated with existing cyanoacrylate technologies for metal and plastic applications especially. The company reports that these low-odor products are designed for a low-blooming, high bond strength, even in places subject to flexing. They also help decrease downtime with fast fixture time at room temperature.
