Every year, we study the leading worldwide manufacturers of adhesives and sealants to compile the ASI Top 20. In considering the rankings, we focus on sales figures (and other details) for finished adhesives and sealants, as well as related products such as tapes and labels.
Four business areas comprise Adhesive Technologies: Packaging & Consumer Goods, representing 32% of the segment’s 2021 sales; Craftsmen, Construction & Professional, 31%; Automotive & Metals, 22%; and Electronics & Industrials, 15%. Each segment achieved double-digit organic sales increases for the year.
Bostik, Arkema’s Adhesives segment, achieved almost €2.3 billion (approximately $2.5 billion) in revenue in 2021. An increase of 14.1% over 2020, this represented 24% of Arkema’s total revenue for the year.
