Manufacturers of the small engines used to power landscape equipment know that proper assembly can make or break their machinery—and their reputation.

Whenever and wherever high-viscosity adhesives and sealants need to be mixed, the choices have been clear cut: either the classic vertical double planetary mixer or the proven double-arm sigma blade mixer have been the mixers of choice when the product viscosity rises past the hundreds of thousands of centipoise, and well into the millions of centipoise.

Effective curing of ultraviolet (UV) adhesives is an important aspect in the assembly and manufacturing of many products. Historically, mercury arc lamps have been used as the curing source in a range of industrial applications and processes to polymerize adhesives, coatings, and inks.

The ASSEMBLY show is scheduled to take place October 27-29 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill. In addition to the exhibition hall, the show will host a keynote speaker on sustainable improvement and lean manufacturing, three afternoon workshops, and various lectures and presentations in the Showcase Theater.
