The Innovation Research Interchange (IRI), a division of the National Association of Manufacturers, has recognized Dr. Alexa Dembek, chief technology and sustainability officer of DuPont, as the recipient of the 2023 IRI Innovation Leadership Award. This award recognizes exceptional leadership in driving innovation and transformation, resulting in significant contributions to the winner’s organization, industry, and society.

Her work has driven the company's progress toward achieving its ambitious 2030 sustainability goals, and she has inspired other IRI member organizations to adopt and chart their own sustainable innovation journeys.
