Omya Performance Polymer Distribution has appointed Sara Ghione as president for Rubber Polymers and Additives. The appointment became effective January 1, 2026.

Based in Oftringen, Switzerland, and reporting to CEO Carsten Harms, Ghione has over 20 years of experience in the chemical distribution industry, most recently as business director for polymers and rubber EMEA for Brenntag. Omya reports that Ghione’s appointment completes the global leadership team for Omya Performance Polymer Distribution.
