Adhesive and Sealant Council Announces Keynote Speakers for 2027 Annual Convention
The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) recently announced speakers for five keynote presentations at its 2027 Annual Convention, taking place April 19-21 in Tampa, Florida. The presentations will address leadership, industry innovation, economic conditions, decision-making, and packaging recyclability.
Jen Buck of Synergistic Training Solutions will deliver an address, “The Impact Advantage: Connect. Bond. Impact,” for the opening keynote address on Tuesday. Buck will explore how communication, collaboration, and human connection influence leadership and business performance. Drawing on neuroscience and human behavior, she will share practical strategies for building trust, strengthening workplace relationships, and improving business outcomes in an environment shaped by AI and rapid change.
ASC President Bill Allmond will give his “State of the Association Address & Innovation Awards Presentation” on for the Tuesday afternoon address. Allmond will provide an update on ASC's recent policy achievements and key association programs. He will also recognize the recipients of the 2027 ASC Innovation Award, which honors companies developing innovations that address unmet needs among downstream end users.
For the Wednesday morning keynote, Alex Chausovsky, president and CEO, 3DM Consulting, will give his address, “Economic and Policy Update: What to Expect in 2027 and Beyond.” Chausovsky will examine how global conflicts, tariffs, supply chain disruptions, and inflation could affect the economy and the adhesives and sealants industry. He will analyze economic indicators and discuss strategies to help business leaders anticipate changes in input costs, profitability, supply chains, and government policy.
On Wednesday afternoon, Bryan Saint, will given an address titled, “ASSUMPTIONS: It's Not What You Think.” Saint, a two-time winner on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, will use magic and audience participation to demonstrate how assumptions can influence decisions and lead to costly mistakes. His presentation will encourage attendees to challenge preconceived ideas, ask better questions, and improve their personal and professional decision-making.
For the closing keynote address on Wednesday Scott Trenor, technical director at the Association of Plastic Recyclers, will give his address, “APR Design Guide: Adhesives & Sealants for Recyclable Packaging.” Trenor will discuss how adhesive selection affects packaging recyclability and compatibility with recycling processes. He will explain the APR Design Guide and review wet chemistry testing methods that manufacturers can use to evaluate adhesives when developing recyclable packaging.
