The distributor will be responsible for the Canadian sales and marketing of CONDEA Servo's additives, which include NUOSPERSE wetting and dispersing agents; SERDAS anti-foaming agents; SER-AD corrosion inhibitors; NUODEX, NUOCURE and NUXTRA driers and catalysts; EXKIN #2 anti-skinning agent; SER-AD coalescing agent; and NUVIS rheological additives.

Daikin America

Daikin America, Orangeburg, N.Y., recently commissioned a full-service fluoroelastomer applications laboratory at its headquarters. This laboratory will support the development of the company's DAI-EL fluoroelastomer products. The start-up of the laboratory, along with last summer's hiring of James Jacks as DAI-EL technical service engineer, will allow Daikin to provide applications and product-development support for the fluoroelastomer product line.

Dunleary, Baltimore, has been awarded exclusive distribution for Reichhold's vinyl acetate/ethylene emulsion and vinyl acetate homopolymer technologies for Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and select accounts in Florida.

Venture Tape

Venture Tape, Rockland, Mass., has increased the size of its Rockland headquarters with the recent completion of a 30,000-sq-ft addition, creating a 134,500-sq-ft facility. The addition will be used for adhesive-tape manufacturing and storage of production materials and finished goods. It will also house a new adhesive coating line.
