Products and technologies being showcased in booth #G31 include multi-functional patches, activatable hybrid systems and dissolvable films for the targeted delivery of therapeutic skin agents and cosmetics ingredients. Multi-functional patches are custom-coated films that provide the sustained delivery of therapeutic and cosmetic ingredients in an exact dosage that can be administered either orally or topically. Activatable hybrid systems are two-layer systems consisting of a flexible backing film laminated to a skin- friendly pressure sensitive adhesive which can be customized to provide either aggressive adhesion or easy removal. And dissolvable films can be modified with tailored functionality for dwell time, composition and multi-component incorporation for localized (oral or topical) delivery.
